Give retired climbing ropes a second life with this mixed bundle of recycled climbing rope core, sourced from Ray's Climbing - one of the UK's largest recyclers of retired climbing ropes.
While the durable outer sheath of each rope is upcycled into new products, the strong nylon core strands remain. Instead of going to waste, these versatile rope cores are bundled together for makers, crafters, artists, and DIY enthusiasts.
Each bundle contains an assorted mix of rope core strands in varying lengths, thicknesses, and colours. Most strands are white or off-white, though some coloured pieces may be included.
Ideal for macramé, weaving, textile art, knot tying practice, basketry, jewellery making, creative repairs, educational projects, dog toys, decorative crafts, and a wide range of other creative applications.
Material: Recycled nylon climbing rope core
Bundle Size: Choose your preferred bundle size from available options in 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 5kg (Picture 1 shows an example of a 1kg bundle).
Length: Mixed lengths ranging from approx. 30 cm to 7.5 m (average strand length is 2–3 m)
Thickness: Mixed diameters, depending on the original climbing ropes used
Colour: Predominantly white and off-white. Occasional coloured strands may be included
