I never thought receiving a box of paper and fabric pieces could be so exciting! Loved looking through the assortment of papers and especially the fabrics when the boxes arrived, and all these are going to be very handy for my junk journalling projects! What a brilliant idea!

I ordered this as I know GF Smith paper is great quality, and I wanted some coloured paper for screen printing experiments. The box was a mix of mostly heavier weight paper, greens browns blues and black with a couple of pillar box red embossed paper. I will be ordering a white mix next, it's a good way to try out different types of paper cheaply.

I am really happy I took the plunge and ordered some boxes from Renee Materials. I am keen to use thrifted, second hand and deadstock fabrics for my projects, as I hate the amount of waste fast fashion creates. Renee Materials allows me to create good quality pieces without impacting the environment.

Although I am not a fan of surprises, having a box of various fabric samples has been useful in planning sewing projects and making smaller items.

The piece of metallic bronze faux leather was enormous and lovely quality. I've already made several pouches for christmas presents in addition to a mobile phone case for my husband.
